Before becoming a home inspector, Robert spent years as a journeyman electrician, working hands‑on with real‑world electrical installations, troubleshooting, and safety systems. He later served as a facility manager for a major aerospace coatings manufacturer, where he maintained complex building systems, ensured operational safety, and upheld strict industry standards. 
 
In addition to his engineering and facilities background, Robert has completed general contracting build‑outs for two small businesses he owns. This firsthand experience with construction practices, materials, and workmanship gives him a deep understanding of how homes are built — and how they should perform. 
 
Today, he brings all of that expertise to every inspection. Thorough, transparent, and highly knowledgeable, he’s committed to helping buyers understand their home so they can move forward with total confidence. Outside of work, he enjoys music, working out, and traveling.

Josh enlisted in the U.S. Navy in Oct 2000 and retired in Oct 2020. He spent his career in the Special Warfare Community and Navy Expeditionary Combat Command before finishing as a Master Training Specialist at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes IL.

Josh’s military background allows him to bring a unique perspective to the inspection process. He is committed to always performing at the highest level. Dunsing’s clients & agent partners can be assured of a thorough & efficient inspection.

Josh enjoys traveling with his family, spending time outdoors and considers himself a foodie. He is a devoted sports fan, he loves his Miami Dolphins; Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks!
