Importance of Radon Testing

Radon exposure is the second leading cause of lung cancer, making it essential to test for radon, especially in areas known for high radon levels. Whether you’re buying a new property or maintaining an existing one, regular radon testing can help prevent long-term health issues.

Our Radon Testing Process

Our radon technicians use state-of-the-art radon detection equipment to accurately measure radon levels. The process involves placing radon detectors in strategic locations within the property for a specific period. Once the testing period is complete, results are analyzed by a licensed laboratory.

  • Radon tests are placed in the home for a minimum of 48 hours conducted under Closed Building Conditions that begin at least 12 hours prior to the start of the test and for the test’s duration
  • Test results will be emailed to client within 24 hours of completion of the radon test
  • Radon testing is conducted with a 48 hour continuous radon monitor, which provides unsurpassed accuracy and tamper prevention
  • All Dunsing Radon Technicians are licensed by the state of Illinois
